According to DAR Archives: Alexander Ogle took the oath of allegiance to the cause of the American Colonies on March, 1778, and at once began supplying the Maryland troops with flour. Acted in capacity of soldier with the Western of White Clay Creek Hundred, New Castle, Delaware.
